Young men not afraid to go that extra few miles to get something done. Thomas & Adai of Puna asked me to paint their new mixtape cover. The tape was inspired by the old communist October revolution. Because the tape was first scheduled to be released in October 2009, and because they have a thing for the old Sovjet regime theme. The tape is now called 'Red Terreur' and it will be available online for free on the 18th of January 2010 at Puna.nl (of course). Happy new year by the way. Remember that I was in search for a fly intern for mixin? Joya Mooi was the result of that search. I promised to guide and shape this young lass into the BO$$ she is destined to become. I must say... I kept my end of the bargain. Early 2010 will see the coming of 'Hard Melk'. The debut album of the talented 19 year old. Joya made a gem. And her album artwork is bananas (shout out to UNDOG)! Hard Melk will also be the newest soundtrack for the MC theaterplay, 'BH'. Starring Jetty Mathurin, Marit van Bohemen, Bo Bojoh, Senna, Isabel Berenos and Wandana Biekram. The play starts March 2010. My homie Naldisney Dollars a.k.a. 'Young Blog Money Makerrr Mayne' asked me to be part of his 'One Night Stand' project. So I gave him a few of my paintings to showcase at his quick fast exhibition. At the same time Nalden was asked to be part of Vodafone's 360 Heroes project. He was filmed during his 'One Night Stand' and my work was strategically placed behind him the entire time he was filmed. Big up to Team VICE. That was a good look people. So... I'm at work minding my own business aaand I get a message from Albert of FreshCotton.com about Lil' Wayne actually seeing the 'Best Rapper Alive' mixin shirt I made a few years ago. Who would've guessed that the t-shirt I gave Noah's Ark rapper MurdaTurk would get stolen... I mean "borrowed" by Vjeze Fur of De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig. And who would've known that Vjeze would wear the shirt at his group's 'Wop Wop Wop' videoshoot. I remember TopNotch label owner Kees de Koning mailing me: "Cool shirt at the end." Back when I saw Vjeze rockin' the tee I was already grinning from ear to ear. But man o man... To see the first minute of QD3's 'The Carter' documentary with Wayne actually commenting on my work was a trip. Haha...

I felt like making some new Ark Boy magic. So I hollered at Jiggy. And he was thinking the same thing. When I mailed him the result he went bonkers.
